Why Choose In-Person Therapy
For some people, being in the same physical space as their therapist feels different. It can create a clearer boundary between everyday life and the time set aside just for you.
Stepping into a dedicated therapy room in Exeter means leaving home, work, and distractions behind — even briefly. That separation can help you focus more fully on what feels important, and on yourself.
In-person sessions may feel especially helpful if you:
- Find it difficult to speak openly at home
- Want a space that feels contained and uninterrupted
- Value the experience of being in the room together
Online therapy works well for many people. If travelling isn’t practical or you’d prefer support from home, you can read more about online counselling here. In-person therapy simply offers a different kind of experience — one that some find more focused or immersive.
